Our top-notch Resident Artists and Binghamton University students sing their "farewell" evening of Broadway favorites! The program will celebrate the brilliance of composers Schwartz and Sondheim, in excerpts from PIPPIN, SWEENEY TODD, WICKED, WEST SIDE STORY, GODSPELL, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, and more! The first half of this recital features three brand-new works by student composer Michael McAndrew, including a vocal duet, a two-piano suite, and a song cycle of the elements. From there, the recital's focus switches to the collaborative side with new music by faculty composers: Daniel Thomas Davis, Paul Schleuse (World Premiere), and William Culverhouse. Also featured are student composers: Nathan Scalise, Venkatesh Balasubramanian (World Premiere), Snow Kim, Jordan Michelle Bowman, Zachary Ritter, and Robert Burton (World Premiere).
