Bravo Broadway "Even Stephens"

"Even Stephens...the music of Stephen Schwartz & Stephen Sondheim"! Back by popular demand, Tri-Cities Opera does Broadway in this musical revue! Our top-notch Resident Artists and Binghamton University students sing their "farewell" evening of Broadway favorites! The program will celebrate the brilliance of composers Schwartz and Sondheim, in excerpts from PIPPIN, SWEENEY TODD, WICKED, WEST SIDE STORY, GODSPELL, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, and more! We're shaking up the format (again!) to offer Broadway for Everyone! We'll shuffle a deck of songs and you'll vote to choose the final set in our Show Tune Shuffle: $1 for 1 vote or $10 for an arm’s length! Hear your favorite musical theatre numbers in this gem of a performance - one night only! Wine and concessions will be available for purchase.

Tri-Cities Opera presents Suor Angelica, a unique one-act opera set in a 17th-century Tuscan convent, containing moments of harrowing drama and unequaled redemptive beauty. The story takes place over one day and intensifies as it unravels. Cara Consilvio will return to direct after directing Hansel and Gretel and Glory Denied, with Music Direction by John Cockerill. The production will be presented as an immersive theatre in Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church and will include Pietro Yon’s Sonata Cromatica for organ played by Trinity’s organist Timothy Smith, Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate sung by Lianne Aharony and Barber’s Hermit Songs, sung by Gina Moscato.

Sara will portray the role of Novice.
